Vacancy – Junior Legal Officer

The Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights is announcing the opening of applications for the position of Junior Legal Officer.

The selected candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Director General, in close coordination with the Institute’s senior legal and programme staff, contributing to the design, implementation and monitoring of activities in the areas of international and transnational criminal law, the rule of law, and human rights.

This is a full-time position for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and continued funding availability.

The Junior Legal Officer will support the Institute’s work through legal research and analysis, preparation of substantive documents and reports, assistance in the organisation of international conferences, seminars and training programmes, project implementation and reporting activities, as well as knowledge-management initiatives.
