On December 6th, judge Rosario Aitala, current member of the Siracusa International Institute’s advisory board, has been elected as one of the new six judges of the International Criminal Court in New York. He received 84 “yes” by the Assembly of the States Parties of the Statute of Rome. Judge Aitala’s entire career has been devoted to criminal law and procedure.
