The Siracusa Institute is happy to inform that the newly edited 2021 Report on European judicial training has just been published.
This new version of the Directorate-General Justice and Consumers’ annual Report monitors the quantitative and qualitative objectives set by the European judicial training strategy for 2021-2024 (Communication ‘Ensuring justice in the EU — a European judicial training strategy for 2021-2024’ (COM(2020) 713 final)). The Report confirms that 2021 was an exceptional year in many ways for judicial training.
Also in 2021, the Siracusa Institute participated in these efforts directed towards the promotion of training and exchange of knowledge of the European judiciary by organizing its technical assistance programs, which are designed to build the professional capacities of judges, prosecutors, but also government officials, police officers, lawyers and academics throughout the world.
