From November 12 to 14, 2024, in Siracusa, Italy, the Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights, in collaboration with the Qatar’s Supreme Judiciary Council, is hosting a specialized training program for Qatari judges on “Tackling Cybercrime: Civil Nature of Losses, Frauds, Forgeries from a Commercial Perspective”.
Qatari judges, legal professionals, and leading international experts gathered to examin the complexities of cybercrime, including issues such as child sexual abuse material, digital fraud, forgery, and their broad impacts on society.
Highlishts include discussions on the civil and commercial repercussions of cybercrime, along with legal strategies to help protect businesses from online threats.
Once again, this event is also fostering international collaboration and knowledge-sharing, empowering participants to address both criminal and civil aspects of cybercrime more effectively.
