This morning we hosted the presentation of Siracusa’s bid to become European Capital of Culture 2033.
The contribution that the Siracusa International Institute brings, and will continue to bring, to the vision of the Siracusa 2033 Foundation is that of a city that is not only the guardian of its extraordinary historical and cultural heritage, but also a vibrant, open and truly international platform, capable of promoting dialogue, rights, culture and cooperation.
Our commitment will be to help create opportunities for openness, exchange and engagement, so that Siracusa can fully express its identity as a meeting place for cultures, ideas and people. Not only a city that welcomes the world, but a city that engages in dialogue with the world and, through this dialogue, builds its future.
In this perspective, we are proud to be part of this journey and to contribute to building the Siracusa of the future.

Questa mattina abbiamo ospitato la presentazione della candidatura di Siracusa a Capitale Europea della Cultura 2033.
Il contributo che il Siracusa International Institute porta, e continuerà a portare, alla visione della Fondazione Siracusa 2033 è quello di una città che non sia soltanto custode del proprio straordinario patrimonio storico e culturale, ma una piattaforma viva, aperta e autenticamente internazionale, capace di promuovere dialogo, diritti, cultura e cooperazione.
Il nostro impegno sarà quello di contribuire a creare occasioni di apertura, confronto e coinvolgimento, affinché Siracusa possa esprimere pienamente la propria identità come luogo di incontro tra culture, idee e persone.
