The Sphinx Workshop, organized by the CT-JUST project in collaboration with The Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights, is dedicated to exploring the crucial role of judicializing intelligence in enhancing the efficacy of the counterterrorist criminal justice chain in MENA and Sahel countries.
Starting on January 29, 2024, in Siracusa, Italy, the second Sphinx Workshop welcomed 9 distinguished representatives from the judiciary, intelligence, and security sectors of Libya, Mauritania, and Tunisia, along with the participation of 6 international experts. This event follows the success of the initial Sphinx Workshop held in Siracusa in June 2023, which included representatives from Jordan, Iraq, and Egypt.
Spanning three days, the workshop aims to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the rules and principles governing various bodies involved in counterterrorism, allowing each representative to familiarize themselves with the practices of other entities within the field.
