From October 25 to 27, 2023, The Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights hosted the second edition of the judges@europe forum organized by the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) on the occasion of the European Day of Justice.
This event focused on discussing contemporary challenges related to good administration of justice and increased demand for judges’ accountability through three key sessions: accountability through disciplinary proceeding and liability, accountability through judicial performance in the digital era, and accountability through transparency.
Judges from 25 EU Member States engaged in discussions, workshops, and collaborative efforts to address digital-era challenges and promote the rule of law in Europe.
