On 18 October 2023, The Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights, represented by its President Jean-Francois Thony, and the Georgian Ilia State University School of Law, represented by its Dean George Papuashvili, signed a Memorandum of Understanding aiming to promote the exchange of experiences and the joint organization of educational and research programs that benefit both institutions.
The MoU covers various activities, such as inviting scholars for lectures and research, hosting joint events like conferences and training sessions, and sharing information on relevant developments. The collaboration seeks to facilitate cooperative efforts in areas of mutual interest as agreed upon by both parties. This partnership represents a significant step toward enhancing academic collaboration and fostering shared growth between the two organizations.
