From 24 to 26 March, we were very delighted and honored to host the official launch of SPHINX’s fifth Hub, a new initiative dedicated to Central Africa.
Senior officials from Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, and the Republic of the Congo joined forces to boost regional efforts against illicit financial flows, money laundering, and terrorism financing. These threats drain public resources and undermine institutions, demanding trusted collaboration among justice, intelligence, and financial investigators.
Since its 2023 launch, SPHINX has built small groups of high-level experts for regular, practical problem-solving. This Hub starts with “judicializing” intelligence, transforming raw intel into evidence that’s ready for court, via improved sharing, stronger trust, and solid frameworks.
In the past few days, participants shared insights on institutional practices and challenges, strengthened trust among stakeholders, and developed real-world cooperation solutions
We’re proud to have offered a neutral space for dialogue, grounded in our rule-of-law tradition!
