Cementing the strong partnership between the Siracusa Institute and the “Union Internationale des Avocats” (UIA), Mr. Andrea Chmieli?ski Bigazzi, Director of the International Defence Counsel Training Programme, has participated in the “UIA Bar Leaders’ Briefing”, hosted at the prestigious United Nations Headquarters in Geneva on June 2. Mr. Bigazzi addressed the assembly of approximately 200 world bar association leaders on the topic “Lawyers in the International Rule of Law Context: Experiences and Challenges”. Mr. Bigazzi specifically congratulated the UIA President, Ms. Laurence Bory, and all of the UIA participants for the 90th anniversary of the Union’s founding.
The UIA is partner of the Siracusa Institute on the International Defence Counsel Training Programme. It is possible to apply now for the next Specialisation Course on “Cases Related to Financial Crime, Money Laundering, and Terrorism Financing“, which will be held from 17 to 19 July in Siracusa.
