Filippo Musca, Deputy Director of the Siracusa International Institute, has attended on January 18th in Pristina the first Steering Committee of the Twinning Project “Strengthening Efficiency, Accountability and Transparency of the Judicial and Prosecutorial System in Kosovo”, funded by the European Commission.
The Siracusa Institute is the ad hoc mandated body of the Italian High Judicial Council (CSM) supporting the scientific and logistical management of the project. The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the Rule of Law in Kosovo by strengthening the independence, efficiency, transparency and sustainability of the judiciary and prosecutorial system. Present at the meeting the 2 Project Leaders, the 2 RTA’s the EU Task Manager as well as the Chairs of the Kosovo Judicial Council Prosecutorial Councils, Mr. Mr. Nehat Idrizi and Mr. Blerim Isufaj.
The Kickoff event of the Project will take place in Pristina on March 3rd, 2017.
