On May 27, 2024, the Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights kicked off its 23rd Specialization Course in International Criminal Law for Young Penalists ‘M. Cherif Bassiouni’ on ‘International Criminal Law and Current Global Crises’.
Hosted both at the Institute’s headquarters and online, the course has attracted participants from over 30 countries worldwide.
Under the guidance of our Course Director, Prof. William Schabas, participants are engaging in in-depth discussions on the latest developments in the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice. This ensures that our course remains highly relevant, offering participants cutting-edge insights into the rapidly evolving field of international criminal law. We are thrilled about the upcoming sessions and valuable exchanges which will further deepen the participants’ understanding and address the critical issues in global justice today.
