23rd Session of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the ICC

02/12/2024

From December 2 to 4, 2024, the Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights, will be participating to the 23rd Session of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court held at the World Forum, The Hague, Netherlands.

Representing the Institute, our delegation – comprising Director General Filippo Musca, and Deputy Director General Céline Viguier – actively engaged with States Parties, Observer States, the Court, civil society representatives and several international organizations present in The Hague.

Our participation, once again, underlines the continued cooperation between the Siracusa International Institute and the International Criminal Court, demonstrating our commitment to the promotion of criminal justice and human rights.
The Institute will take this occasion to further promote its ‘REACT’ project (Regional Atrocity Crimes Training Platform), which aims to build regional capacity to investigate and prosecute atrocity crimes, as an important initiative to strengthen justice systems, build resilience, and advance the fight against impunity.

The Institute is proud to contribute to this important annual gathering and looks forward to continuing its work with the Assembly of States Parties and the International Criminal Court to advance justice through collaboration and impactful projects such as REACT.
