The Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights is glad to announce the celebration of its 50th anniversary (1972-2022). To reflect on the outstanding achievements accomplished in its first 50 years and its way forward, the Institute will hold a ceremony on Saturday, 17 September 2022, in Siracusa, in the presence of national governmental officers as well as international jurists and academic leaders who have supported the long life of the Institute. An international conference will follow the official ceremony. Celebrating 50 years is not just about looking back at, but also looking forward to setting new paths for the future of criminal justice and human rights in such difficult times. In this occasion, we are also happy to present the Institute’s 50th Anniversary logo, designed to honour such an important milestone in its history.
