On Monday June 28th, the Siracusa International Institute will host an online webinar on “Illicit Flows in the Mediterranean: Vulnerabilities, Asymmetries and the Limits of Criminal Justice Responses” which will take place virtually on Zoom on Monday morning at 10:00-12:15 CET time.

The webinar is organised within the project “Displacement and Convergence of Illicit Flows” (FLOWS), which is conducted by Transcrime, a Joint Research Centre on Transnational Crime of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, in partnership, amongst others, with the Siracusa International Institute.

The second session, entitled “Addressing risks of crime displacement and convergence through rule of law assistance and deeper international cooperation”, will foresee interventions by Mr. Andrea Romano, Strategic Organized Crime Advisor LEU at the EU Border Assistance Mission in Libya (EUBAM) and Ms. Federica La Chioma, Deputy Prosecutor at the Office of the Prosecutor of Palermo.
