On June 7th, 2019, Mr. Ezechia Paolo Reale, Secretary General of the Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights, delivered a speech at the 2019 annual general meeting of the International Association of Indipendent Law Firms (INTERLEGES) in Siracusa.
Born in 1989, INTERLEGES is an alliance of independent law firms which now includes firms in over twenty countries. Through Interleges, both business organisations and individuals have access to specialist lawyers who have experience in representing clients from different countries.
The meeting opened with the remarks of Mr. John North, President of Interleges and featured then several presentations by the members of the association.
In his presentation, Mr. Reale presented the history of the Siracusa International Institute, and its main outcomes and activities in Italy and abroad, including the extraordinary contribution that the Institute provided to the establishment of international instruments and institutions.
