Registrations are now open for the Francophone Edition of the Specialisation Course for Young Prosecutors (CSJP)!

10/02/2022

The Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights, the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) and the Association Internationale des Procureurs et Poursuivants Francophones (AIPPF) are pleased to announce the launch of the Francophone edition of their training course for prosecutors, the Specialisation Course for Young Prosecutors on International Criminal Justice and Cooperation in Criminal Matters (CSJP).

The CSJP is designed to highlight the most important synergies between international criminal justice and the prosecution of international crimes at national level. Over the course of a week of training, the course will prepare national prosecutors to work on cases involving core international crimes as well as transnational crimes and will also provide specialised training in international legal cooperation.

This unique and global course will take place in Siracusa (Italy) from 16 to 21 May 2022. An important feature of the CSJP is that it has been developed by expert prosecutors for prosecutors and related professionals with up to fifteen years of experience. The sessions will use a range of interactive, practical and innovative teaching methods. Places on this course are limited to 50 prosecutors.

You can now apply to take part in the course. Registrations will close on 30 March 2022 but may close earlier if all available places are filled. It is therefore strongly recommended that interested applicants register as soon as possible.
