As a result of cooperation agreements with several Italian Universities and in collaboration with the Italian Section of the International Association of Penal Law, since 2009 the Siracusa International Institute has annually hold a one-week Specialization Course on Criminal Law for PhD Candidates, which reconfirms its commitment to education in the fields of Italian, European and International Criminal Law.
